Parkview Place
As the gateway to Ambleside in West Vancouver, this Parkview Place project was designed to take advantage of the park views with the incorporation of the sloped roof. It provides a mix of live work and luxury condominium units in close proximity to transit and local amenities such as the library and seniors’ centre. The live/work units boast front entries onto the street allowing for an in home office. Two of the units are fully accessible incorporating such aging in place features as roll in showers, pull out work boards in the kitchens and provisions for adapting counter heights. Sustainable design features include the open breezeway allowing for penetration of light into the front and rear of units along with enhanced natural ventilation. This is a concrete building with stone exterior and was designed using LEED as a template for material choices and layout.
