Galleries on the Bay
In this heart of Horseshoe Bay, the project includes a mix of live work studio units off the lane allowing for a variety of uses, residential on the upper floors, and retail at grade along the two main frontages. A key design element was the inclusion of the gallery space connecting the main street back to the lane and allowing for community art and craft display. Increased sidewalk setbacks were also incorporated to allow for the retail space to spill out onto the street. The overall theme of the project reflects the heavy timber and board/batten details of the local wharf. The building includes a variety of increased accessible design elements to facilitate aging in place.
