Hamber Island Estate Bridge
This is very exciting and challenging bridge architecture project that involves connecting one home on the mainland and one on Hamber Island. The program was to integrate these two family homes into the landscape using natural / local materials, minimizing site disturbance and maintaining the natural beauty of the site. Consultation was undertaken with all levels of government and the public after which a development permit was applied for and issued by the Village of Belcarra in recognition of the sensitive way in which the project had been designed and the consultation that was undertaken. This is a multiple phase project with the first phase being the construction of the bridge which is now complete.
