Beaux Art Village
This craftsman style home is located a short drive from downtown Seattle in Bellevue, Washington. Set in an area of cottage style homes with very mature gardens the challenge was to fit in with an upscale feel. Exterior material choices included shingles and stone punctuated by generous amounts of trellis and wood detailing. Inside, natural concrete, slate and the use of antiqued doors provided an ambience and focus for the home. The neighborhood greeted this new addition with great enthusiasm.
